Wahaj Siddiqui founded Oblique Consult with the sole intent of providing well-rounded tax, financial, and transformation advisory services that integrate local tax environments with global business strategies. Our goal here is to cut through the noise, redefine financial advisory, and become a leading presence in the Middle East.
We started as a one-person team in 2018 and are now a proud team of 20 that manages more than 50 clients across various industries in 5 countries.

Our Founder
Wahaj Siddiqui has over 18 years of diverse experience in corporate finance and tax advisory. Prior to founding Oblique Consult, he served in KPMG, Etihad Airways, Al Hilal Bank, and Emirates Airlines.
Wahaj’s roles as an external auditor, financial reporting, internal audit, and tax leadership shape the data-driven consulting services we offer at Oblique Consult. It's his future-forward vision that led to the development of Simpla AI, a personal financial advisor for entrepreneurs.
